MY JOURNEY
Music is life! Since I was young, I was always fascinated by all styles of music. Coming from Vietnam as a child, I absorbed all the sounds around me when I arrived in America. Slowly, the need to play and express myself took hold. My first foray into music was in a typical manner. Piano and violin as a young child, along with singing in choir. But I always felt there was more.
Fast forward many years, I finally got to the guitar. I began to write my own songs about all my lifes experiences and those around me. Many people encouraged me to continue dowm this path. My first gigs were in the wine bars, pubs and coffee house throughout Long Beach, CA. This eventually lead to a regular Sunday night gig hosting the open mic at The Wine Bar in Downtown LB. Over the years I have played for audiences on stages such as the OC Fair, The Ordinare, Marina Wine Bar and many more. Join me on my musical journey and come and see me some time!
